This tool change truck shows that the handling of heavy tooling can be easy and danger free. The stroke of 1000mm can be covered in 27 seconds using the 24V batteries and 2.3kw hydraulic unit.

The batteries also power the drive unit which make shunting no problem. A drive unit with steering arm and a second steerable wheel are used to provide a powerful drive even on uneven surfaces. This also ensures that all four wheels have contact with the ground at all times.

The base for this truck is a series lifting table from the ELS series, which provide a loading capacity between 500kg to 10t and can be found in the internet under www.gruse.de.

When a smaller truck is required, the standard GRUSE hebefix lifting tables can be fitted with a drive unit.
