In car industry lift tables are being used in many areas of the automatic product
lines, for smooth transport, when different working heights are required. But still there
are many working areas, where manual labour is essential. These
working places must be ergonomically organized. Prefabricated motorcar parts are delivered
in large containers and must be placed at an ergonomically good position for the workman.
Mostly there is not much space available, but smooth logistics are essential.
The solution for fitting engine bonnets turned out to be a
lifting-tilting-turning appliance, were 2 boxes can be used. When one box is empty, the
workman can lift the 2nd box into right position and can then exchange the empty box
against the loaded box.
As required by the customer, the manufacturer Gruse, Aerzen,
(www.gruse.com) has fitted in this case bellow cylinders for the two lift tables and also
for the tilting tables, cased by expansion bellow due to safety reasons.
The turning table is controlled by a frequency converter, the turning
process with tilting, lowering and is fully automatic. The frame is protected by a bumper.
Gruse offers a wide range of standard scissor lift tables and other
handling appliances, and are specialists in the business of developing and manufacturing
special constructions (www.lifttable.info) as required by the customers.
