The stroke of 1000mm can be covered in 27 seconds using the 24V batteries and 2.3kw hydraulic unit. The batteries also power the drive unit which make shunting no problem. A drive unit with steering arm and a second steerable wheel are used to provide a powerful drive even on uneven surfaces. This also ensures that all four wheels have contact with the ground at all times. The base for this truck is a series lifting table from the ELS series, which provide a loading capacity between 500kg to 10t and can be found in the internet under www.gruse.de. When a smaller truck is required, the standard GRUSE hebefix lifting tables can be fitted with a drive unit.
