 Why should one lift things per hand
even though they are much too heavy? Why should one use a forklift truck even though the
forklift is much too big?Many uses can be found for lifting and handling devices in the area between 20 and 250kg which would improve working conditions but where a forklift truck, because of it's size, is not of much use. We are not only talking about simple lifting, although the "Handy" by GRUSE is equipped in standard form with a simple platform, but a solution to many other handling problems. The handy can provide a lifting device with lifting heights of 800, 1250 and 1800mm using specially constructed tooling. In addition the customer can choose between foot pump or electro-hydraulic drive which together provide in practice a wide range of options. Besides the wide range of platforms, a grab system can be provided for barrels, containers, crates and a swivel/rotate option is also possible. A standard option is the emptying system for 240l rubbish bins which can be used to empty them into larger containers. The photo shows an emptying system for a special container which is operated using a hand crank and gearbox.
