| Coil tipper |
 A coil has two faces. One is round,
the other flat. The difficulty with coils is that they need to be handled in the one
position and then in the other, which means they need to be tipped at some point. They are
mostly very heavy which means that this process is very time consuming and dangerous when
carried out without suitable equipment.It was for this reason that the firm Wippermann jr. GmbH in Hagen-Delstern, a manufacturer of steel link and other special chains, decided to order a coil-tipper specific to their needs from GRUSE in Aerzen. The technical details are; load capacity 3t, platforms of 1600 x 1600mm and 1600 x 800mm for coil diameters between 1000 - 1600mm with a hydraulic unit of 4kw. The work safety is increased, time saved and the work process optimised by using this machine. Coil-tippers for loading by forklift or pallet truck, with or without prism table and with different loading capacities and sizes can be offered because GRUSE (www.gruse.de) can offer solutions for the customer's specific needs.
