| GRUSE Reduces Strain Injuries |
 Do you have to load small boxes into a larger container for transport purposes?If so, depending on the method of handling, your operators may have to continuously bend one hundred times or more in order to reach into the large container. The Siemens Company had exactly this problem when loading boxed mobile phones into Euro pallet based containers. Siemens contacted Gruse and, as specialists in the supply of intelligent ergonomic solutions, Gruse were able to offer a modified version of their standard tilting dispenser. This machine, of light constructions, is easily pushed so that the forks pass through the bas pallet and, as the weight to be handled is quite low, it is possible to power tilt from an inexpensive foot pump. When turned through 90°, to the horizontal position, the female operators are able to comfortably load the container without strenuous bending. For heavier loads electrically powered models are available and it is also possible to incorporate these machines in conveyor lines so that they can be loaded, for example, from a gravity roller conveyor.
