A commissioning wagon can be very useful in many areas. They are often used in
stores when putting together a customers order. They can also be
used in firms where machines are built as one-off's or in small batches. The components
can be collected in the wagon and moved easily from workplace to workplace. When all the
individual work is completed, the final assembly of the components can begin.
The requirements of such a wagon are many and varied due to the many
different components requiring transport.
The example shown has a load capacity of 1000kg and the overall
dimensions of a euro-pallet and can be used for small parts, boxes, longer parts and sheet
metal.
The adjustable extension arms can be used for longer components and the
shelve units can be used for smaller, shorter components. The underframe consists of a
closed tray which can be used for boxes and small parts etc. Sheet metal can be stored
upright in the middle compartment.
The advantages of such a wagon lay in the good access, clear overview of
components, all components for one order can be stored together and that the components
can be easily transported to where they are required. These wagons can be constructed to
cater for the individual requirements of the customer.
